Early life and education of Craig Bierko
Craig Philip Bierko was born on August 18, 1964 in Rye Brook, New York. His parents, Pat and Rex Bierko, both ran a local community theater. While growing up in a household that promoted acting, Craig decided to pursue an acting career. Bierko’s mother was born Jewish but later converted to Roman Catholicism. He is of American nationality.
Craig attended Boston University with the intention of studying broadcast journalism at the School of Public Communications. However, he did join Northwestern University and later graduated in 1986 with a BA in Theater Arts from the School of Speech.

Craig Bierko landed his first major role in the 1993 TV movie Star by Danielle Steels as Spencer Hill. He went on to be seen in movies like Johns, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Sour Graoes, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Suburbans, The Thirteenth Floor, Kate & Leopold, I’m With Lucy, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Cabello Tall.
In 2005, Craig starred as Max Baer in Cinderella Man, alongside Russell Crowe, Renee Zellweger, Paul Giamatti , Craig Bierko , and many others. He has been seen in Scary Movie 4, Danika, For Your Consideration, Meet Bill, Company, The Change-Up and many more. Craig made his television debut in 1987 in an episode of Roomies as the character Dale.
He went on to be seen on shows like Our House, ABC After School Specials, The Young and the Restless.
