Synopsis
Constance Marie, an American actress, is famous for appearing in various movies and TV series. She is best known for her role as Angie Lopez on the American sitcom George Lopez and her role as Marcela Quintanilla (Selena’s mother) in the 1997 musical drama biopic film Selena .
She is good friends with producer/director Edward James Olmos. Currently, she plays Regina Vasquez on the ABC Family drama. Switched at birth .
Early life
Constance Marie Lopez was born on September 9, 1965 in East Lost Angeles, California, USA. She is of White-American ethnicity. Marie was a keen dancer from her early childhood.
At the age of 19, she appeared in the musical Cosmopolis by composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, as a dancer in Japan. After moving back to her hometown of Los Angeles, she, a dance choreographer for David Bowie, saw her at a club. In 1987, she was booked on the Glass Spider Tour.

Constance Marie’s career on both the small and big screens began to thrive when, as a teenager, on the underground Los Angeles breakdancing scene, she was selected from a field of 500 hopefuls to dance on David’s Glass Spider Tour. Bowie in 1987.

In 2000, he had a recurring role on For Your Love. In 2001, she played Inez Cortex, a salsa champion in Ally McBeal. Since then, she has had roles in The Underworld, See Spot Run, and Dancing in September. In 2002, she juggled two main series: American Family and George Lopez.
