Christoph Waltz is a German-Austrian actor and director. The actor gained fame from him for the Quentin Tarantino film Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained in both films he won the Oscar and Golden Globe for the supporting role of him. Other notable films by him include Specter , Battle of Angel Wings , Big Eyes and The Legend of Tarzan .

Christoph Waltz was born on October 4, 1956 in Vienna, Austria. He is of mixed ethnicity and has dual German and Austrian citizenship.
He is the son of a German stage designer father Johannes Waltz and Austrian costume designer mother Elisabeth Urbancic .
Waltz graduated from the Theresianum in Vienna. He then went on to study acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. The actor enrolled at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, but later thought his voice was not good for a career in opera.
He won two Academy Awards for his supporting role.
Christoph Waltz made his acting debut in the German television series Yo Dam Des in 1977. As for his first big screen appearance, he worked in the 1981 German film Headstand . He worked on many TV series and one feature film and his craft led him to work on Quentin Tarantino ‘s Inglourious Basterds film in 2009. For which he won his first Academy Award and Golden Globes for Best Supporting Role.
