Christine Blasey Ford is an American psychology professor at the ‘University of Palo Alto’ who rose to fame after accusing former US Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault. Ford and Kavanaugh attended the same high school in the early 1980s when the alleged incident occurred. The accusation generated several controversies and made headlines for months.
Early life and education of Christine Blasey Ford
Christine Blasey Ford was born in November 1966 to parents Paula K. and Ralph G. Blasey Jr. She grew up in the suburban towns of Washington DC She grew up with two brothers; Tom Blasey and Ralph Blasey III. Ford attended the Holton-Arms School , a private college preparatory school for girls in Bethesda from 1978 through 1984.
As part of the regional diving sports team, he had the opportunity to discuss the 1980 Summer Olympics Boycott at the White House along with diver Greg Louganis.
Ford received his bachelor’s degree in experimental psychology from the University of North Carolina in 1988. He continued his education and received a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. She earned a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Southern California . Ultimately, she earned her second master’s degree in epidemiology in 2009 from Stanford University School of Medicine.

Christine Blasey Ford began her teaching career at Stanford University in 1988. Later, she began teaching research design and clinical educational psychology at Palo Alto University . In addition to this, she is also involved in various educational programs with Stanford University of Medicine as a member of a consortium group with Palo Alto University.
Maintaining Ford’s confidentiality, Feinstein did not disclose the problem in Kavanaugh’s initial confirmation process. But, he proceeded to Ford’s letter to the FBI after The Intercept reported that Feinstein was withholding documents related to Kavanaugh. The FBI later sent the letter to the White House, which passed it on to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Details dating to 1982 allege that Kavanaugh, then 17, restrained Ford, 15, held her to a bed and groped her and tried to remove her clothing while he was intoxicated. Despite all these accusations, Brett Kavanaugh was appointed as an associate justice of the supreme court and declared that all the accusations were false. Kavanaugh was also accused of sexual harassment. by a second woman named Deborah Ramirez .
