Carl Quintanilla was born on September 10, 1970 in Midland, Michigan. Quintanilla studied at the University of Colorado in 1993. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He has primarily worked for CNBC. He has also worked as a columnist and reporter for the Boulder Daily Camera and spent his summer for National Public Radio as an editorial assistant in Washington DC from 1991 to 1993.
