CIGARE BUTCH JONES
While working at Tennessee as a head coach, he never beat Alabama, so he never got to smoke the usual victory cigar whenever the two teams faced off. But now he’s on the opposite sideline, and he finally got to celebrate a win in the historic rivalry, much to the chagrin of Vol fans.
A photo posted by Chris Owens of the Alabama football team began making the rounds shortly after the Tide’s 58-21 victory over the Vols on Saturday.
He presented him with a cigar in his mouth and his arm wrapped around Butch Jones, who is now an offensive analyst for Alabama, with a cigar in his mouth as well.

The son of former Tennessee football coach Butch Jones was fired a year ago after breaking his collarbone in the Catholics’ game against Cleveland on September 7.
Butch had missed Catholic’s first two games due to his new position as an analyst for the Alabama football team. But there he was, patting his son’s head and trying to comfort him.
In the end, Adam Jones missed four games and was able to return for senior night, with his mom and dad by his side. But as the Catholic prepared to face Oak Ridge on Friday in the Class 5A quarterfinal, Adam Jones reflected on a senior season that certainly didn’t go to plan.
