Benjamin Aaron Shapiro, known as Ben Shapiro, is an American political commentator, nationally syndicated columnist, author, radio talk show host, and attorney. He has written several books in his career.
Brainwashing: How Universities Indoctrinate America’s Youth is one of his popular books, which he wrote when he was just 17 years old. As of 2018, he is editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire and writes a column for Creators Syndicate.
Early life and education of Ben Shapiro
Shapiro was born on January 15, 1984 in Los Angeles, California, United States. His family is Jewish, having immigrated from part of Russia. She enrolled in Walter Reed High School and transferred to Yeshiva University Los Angeles High School, where he graduated in 2000.
After completing his high school diploma, at the age of sixteen, he enrolled at UCLA, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in June 2004 with a minor in Political Science.
In 2007, he graduated with honors from Harvard Law School. At the age of 17, Shapiro was hired by Creators Syndicate and became the youngest nationally syndicated columnist in the US.
