Early life and career of Aziz Bouhaddouz

Aziz Bouhaddouz was born on March 30, 1987 in Berkane, Morocco. His family moved to Dietzenbach in southern Hessen when Bouhaddouz was only one year old. At the age of 9, he joined FC Dietzenbach and played for the club until 2003. From 2003-2004 he played for SpVgg 03, Neu-Isenburg.

He made his senior team debut in 2006 playing for FSV Frankfurt, at the time the team was playing in the Oberliga Hessen. He served for the club until 2011 appearing in 46 games scoring just 2 goals. In 2006 he was sent to FC Erzgebirge Aue on loan for 1.5 years. There he played 9 games scoring a single goal.

His best season was 2013-2014 with Bayer 04 Leverkusen II in which he scored 24 goals throughout the competition, appearing in 27 games. In 2014 he joined SV Sandhausen signing a two-year contract. During his tenure with the club, he scored 18 goals in 56 appearances. He currently plays for Bouhaddouz, he signed a three-year deal in April 2016.

International career of Aziz Bouhaddouz

Bouhaddouz made his international debut in 2016 against Sao Tome and Principe. The following year he represented Morocco in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in a match against Togo.

In Morocco’s first match of the 2018 World Cup against Iran, he scored an own goal leading his team to a 1–0 loss.
