Billy Ray Cyrus is an American singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known for his number one single ‘Achy Breaky Heart’, which became the first single to achieve triple Platinum status in Australia. Since 1992 he has released 12 studio albums and 44 singles. “Achy Breaky Heart” was also the top-selling single in the same country in 1992.

The multi-platinum recording artist has scored a total of eight top singles on the Billboard Country Songs chart. During his career he released 36 singles. 17 of them were in the top 40. This year 2019, Cyrus earned his first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 as a featured artist on a remix of the Lil Nas X song ‘Old Town Road’.
