BILL HADER BIOGRAPHY AND Lifestyle

Bill Hader is an American comedian, writer, producer, actor, voice actor and director. He is widely recognized as a cast member on the NBC variety series Saturday Night Live from 2005 to 2013, for which he received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Peabody Award. Hader is also the co-creator, essayist and director of IFC’s mock satire arrangement Documentary Now! (2015-present).

Hader is the son of (mother) Sherri Renee Patton and William Thomas Hader. His father owned an air freight company and worked as a restaurant manager, truck driver, and occasional comedian; his mother was a dance teacher.

He recognized Monty Python, the British parody and the films of Mel Brooks and Woody Allen, many of which he knew through his father. He makes short films with companions and participates in a school creation of The Glass Menagerie.

He was unable to gain admission to top film schools due to his “miserable” grades, so he instead enrolled at the Art Institute of Phoenix and then Scottsdale Community College. Hader said his absolute number one activity was selling Christmas trees. He also worked as an assistant at a movie theater near Tempe, which allowed him to see movies for nothing. He was fired for ruining the closure of the 1997 film Titanic to vocal benefactors. In Scottsdale, he met Nicholas Jasenovec, the leader of Paper Heart.
