Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos on July 5, 1994. Initially, as an online marketplace for books, it has however expanded into a multitude of product categories. It has multiple subsidiaries including Amazon Web Services (cloud computing), Zoox (autonomous vehicles), Kuiper Systems (satellite Internet), and Amazon Lab126 (computer hardware R&D). Its other subsidiaries include Ring, Twitch, IMDb, and Whole Foods Market.

Alibaba is a Chinese multinational technology company and one of the biggest e-commerce companies in the world, with an estimated Market cap of $244 Billion. It is also one of the biggest venture capital firms and investment corporations in the world, as well as the second largest financial services group behind Visa. It was also rated as the fifth-largest artificial intelligence company in 2020.
The company was founded by Jack Ma in June 1999. It provides consumer-to-consumer (C2C), business-to-consumer (B2C), and business-to-business (B2B) sales services via web portals, as well as electronic payment services, shopping search engines, and cloud computing services. Meituan was founded by Wang Xing in 2010 and is headquartered in Beijing. The Company operates different apps and websites for different services. The company was founded by Liu Qiangdong on June 18, 1998, and its retail platform went online in 2004. The company changed its domain name to 360buy.com in June 2007 and then to JD.com in 2013.
