BIOGRAPHY BIG E
Big E is an American professional wrestler and former powerlifter and American football player. He was signed to WWE, where he performed on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Big E where he was a member of The New Day along with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. They are also the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions in their record fourth reign.

He attended Wharton High School in Tampa, where he won numerous athletic honors, including a state high school wrestling championship and was named Hillsborough County’s “Ironman of the Year.” American football as a defensive lineman for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
He received a redshirt in 2004 and missed the 2005 season due to an injury sustained in preseason camp, playing only one season as a sophomore in 2006. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. After college, Ewen turned to the sport of powerlifting.

BIG E CAREER
Big E made his first appearance as a powerlifter in United States powerlifting competition on July 11, 2010, at the United States Open Championships at Nova Southern University in Davie, Florida. He became the top heavyweight lifter breaking all four Florida State Raw Powerlifting records in the 275-pound class.
Ewen signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and was assigned to its developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. On December 17, 2009, he debuted under the ring name, Big E Langston and won the FCW Tag Team Championship by teaming with Calvin Raines in a match against Richie Steamboat and Seth Rollins.
After FCW’s name change to NXT, Langston made his debut by defeating Adam Mercer, which marked the start of a winning streak for him. He then started having a conflict with The Shield and won the NXT Championship title in a no disqualification match which was against Seth Rollins.
Big E made his very first appearance on the December 17, 2012 episode of Raw, attacking John Cena in coordination with AJ Lee, establishing himself as a villain. He is a WWE Intercontinental Champion and two-time WWE Tag Team Champion (Raw) and holds the longest tag team title record in WWE history. He is a third of The New Day alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
