BERN’S BIOGRAPHY
Gilbert Anthony Milam Jr. better known by his stage name Bernese is an American musician and businessman. He is a touring artist signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang label. Over the years, Berner has released 16 albums, several of which have charted on Billboard ‘s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart .
BERNER CAREER
In 2007, the rapist would form his own record label titled Bern One Entertainment. Also, in the same year, he released his first album titled Track Money & Pack Money, with the artist Equipto.
Weekend at Bernie S
In 2009, he released his first solo album, Weekend at Bernie S , which was met with great critical acclaim. He then released four more albums.
In March 2012, Berner signed to Wiz Khalifa ‘s Taylor Gang Recordings. During his tenure at Taylor Gang, he released Urban Farmer, which was Berner’s first collection to be released on Taylor Gang Records, and was released on October 2, 2012. In 2013, Berner embarked on touring “Under the Influence of Music Tour”. alongside Khalifa, A$AP Rocky, Trinidad Jame$, and Joey Bada$$.
Collaborations
In 2015, Berner released Contraband, a collaborative album with Cam’ron, as well as Drought Season 3 with late rapper The Jacka. In 2016 Berner released the solo album Hempire , also producing a 4/20 show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium with a lineup that included Cypress Hill, Juicy J, Dizzy Wright, J Boog, Kool John and Berner.
Urban Farms r , another of Berner’s albums, features Iamsu! by The HBK Gang on two tracks; and the Jacka, Rydah J. Klyde and San Quinn on 21 Gunz .

When he was 18, he worked the front desk of a cannabis dispensary in the Bay Area, checking IDs and filling out application forms. Long before the Green Rush, some time before Prop 42 made recreational marijuana legal in his home state, he saw business opportunities on those bland dispensary shelves. He ran a cannabis club from 18 to 25; after meeting Wiz Khalifa, the latter heard Berner’s release with Equipto and signed him under the Taylor Gang.
