Bernadette Peters is an American actress, singer and children’s book author. She is famous for her roles on the Broadway stage, including the musicals Mack and Mabel, Sunday in the Park with George, Song, and Dance, Into the Woods, The Goodbye Girl, Annie Get Your Gun, Gypsy and Hello, Dolly! .
Her first stage performance was as a child and as a teenage actress in the 70s in film and television.
