Beau Bridges is a familiar face from film and television. Moviegoers remember him as the responsible, family-oriented, married brother in The Fabulous Baker Boys . But he has given a lot of play as a secondary.

Lloyd Vernet Bridges III was born on December 9, 1941, in Los Angeles (California), where his father, Lloyd Bridges , who had a career in film, earned a living, while his mother, Dorothy Dean Bridges, was also an occasional actress. . Eight years later his brother would be born, the now prestigious Jeff Bridges . He was nicknamed ‘Beau’ after the son of Leslie Howard ‘s Ashley Wilkes inGone with the Wind .
