BCAA and the benefits of using it as part of your nutritional supplement

The term non-essential can be poorly understood. But in general, all amino acids are important, and some of them, such as glutamine, are actually very important (it helps with illness and boosts your immune system).

There are 12 non-essential amino acids, but I will mention these: alanine , arginine , cysteine , cystine , glutamine , glutaric acid , hydroxyproline , proline , glycine , serine , and tyrosine .

BCAA (The Essential Branched Chain Amino Acids) are of particular importance for athletes, as they are not metabolized in the liver but in the muscles.

The possible muscle tissue uses the BCAA for energy production and protein synthesis.

These acids are involved in neurotransmitter metabolism, the chemical process in the brain that affects mood and mental function.

After eating and breaking down the proteins of individual amino acids , BCAA amino acids can be used either to build new proteins or as fuel to generate extra electricity.

Don’t forget that high levels of leucine in the body is a signal of muscle growth. Leucine promotes regeneration and protects muscle tissue (anti-catabolic effect). Vitamins B5 , B6 , and B12 are essential nutrients with important roles in the synthesis and metabolism of protein, carbohydrate, fat, and red blood cells, as well as optimizing cardiovascular health, hormonal changes, the immune system, and the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system.

Now let’s see how you can use your BCAA . For example, if it is a powder, it can be used as a daily supplement.

A dose of BCAA powder is mixed in 300 ml of water.

After mixing, the water and BCAA should be steeped for 3 to 5 minutes to ensure better absorption of the ingredients.

BCAA can be taken before, during and after training.

During the days when you exercise, this supplement can be taken in the morning before breakfast.
