BBNaija: Meet Whitemoney The Likely Winner of the BBNaija “Shine Ya eye” Edition

Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney is a Nigerian entrepreneur and businessman. A contestant in the 6th edition of Big Brother Naija-themed “Shine ya eye”.

Childhood and Education

Whitemoney was born on the 6th of July 1992, in Kebbi State, although an indigene of Enugu State. He reportedly spent many years in Enugu before he moved to Lagos to seek greener pastures.

Hazel claims to be from a very rich home, but his father abandoned him, his brothers, and his mothers when he was young. He noted that his mother struggled to take care of him and his sibling after the father abscond

White Money who is one of three children of his parent disclosed that he does not have a university degree, unlike his two brothers who are all very well educated.

According to White Money, he stopped his education at the NECO level but he intends to marry a very educated woman and also make sure that his kids get enough education.

Career

White Money can be described as an all-around hustler. He is an entrepreneur who has ventured into numerous areas of business, including, shoe sales, jewelry, photography, transportation, comedy, singing, etc.

White Money started his career selling several goods and rendering services in Lagos State Nigeria. He grew his business which includes importation and sales designer shoes, production of lip balm, clearing, and delivering of cars across Nigeria.

Whitemoney started appearing on the mainstream when he featured alongside Josh2Funny, Bello Kreb, Nas Boi in a comedy skit.

BIG BROTHER NAIJA

In July 2021, White Money gained popularity after he was introduced as one of the housemates of the Big Brother Naija Season 6

Before going into the house he revealed that he has his eyes on the ultimate prize, and he hopes to bring his ‘A’ game and have fun in the house.

Whitemoney began trending the moment he stepped into the Big Brother house. His hustling nature and business orientation have also made people call him a typical Igbo man. Many memes and jokes circulated the net about him and his love for business and money talks.

He started gaining the love of the masses and the public due to his originality and his cooking habits. Celebrities like Funke Akindele took to various social platforms to show their support for him.

However, Whitemoney had an altercation with Pere another major contender in the Big Brother house, when he banned him from using the Kitchen.

Pere who was the then Head of House noted that Whitemoney was using the cooking as a strategy to win the mind of the audience as well as the Housemate.

Despite the altercation with Pere, Whitemoney still maintained a friendly relationship with everyone in the house, including Pere himself.

Many of the audience wowed with such humility and character, while some other stated that the Big Brother contestant was just playing a script to win the Money.
