Barry Williams (actor) is an American singer and actor who is best known for the Brady sons, Greg Brady, on the ABC television series The Brady Bunch. Barry Williams has an album label under the name Return of Johnny Bravo.
BARRY WILLIAMS EARLY LIFE
He was born in September 1954 to Doris May Moore and Frank Millar Blenkhorn and grew up in Pacific Palisades, California. In 1967, he made his television debut in an episode of Dragnet. He guest stars on various TV series including Adam-12, The Invaders, That Girl, Mission is impossible, The Mod Squad, Here Come the Brides and Bartleby, the scrivener. In 1969 he starred as Greg Brady in The Brady Bunch

When Brady Bunch was canceled in 1974, Williams took on guest roles on television and became involved in musical theatre. He has also toured extensively with productions such as Grease, The Sound of Music and West Side Story. He starred on Broadway in the Tony Award-nominated musical Romance with Alison Fraser in 1988. When Scott Bakula left the production, he took over the male lead role in ‘Alfred/Sam. to be typecast as Greg Brady.

He played manager Dean ‘The Machine’ Strickland in 13 episodes of the sitcom, Hollywood 7 which featured British pop group S Club 7 in 2001-2002.
Williams competed on the Fox TV show Celebrity Boxing in a boxing match between him and former Partridge Family star Danny Bonaduce in 2002. He lost to Bonaduce who holds a black belt in Tang Soo Do. In 2003, he played himself in the film Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. He also made several appearances at the World’s Biggest Nightclub in Buffalo, New York, where he disco blasted.
Williams started a fan portal named “The Greg Brady Project”, in December 2007. He appeared in episode 6 of the VH1 series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008. He participated as a friend of the One of the patients, Chyna, explained to her in a group session how her drinking had negatively impacted her own career and life. He had a role in The Asylum mockbuster, Mega Piranha in January 2010, and starred alongside former teenage pop singer Tiffany. He began appearing in a show at the Yakov Smirnoff Theater in Branson, Missouri in late 2011.
