BIOGRAPHY OF BARRY MANILOW
Barry Manilow is an American singer-songwriter, arranger, musician and producer with a career spanning over 50 years. Some of his hit recordings include ‘Could It Be Magic’, ‘Mandy’, ‘I Write the Songs’, ‘Can’t Smile Without You’ and ‘Copacabana (At the Copa)’.
Manilow, he recorded and released 46 Top 40 singles on the Adult Contemporary Chart; 13 which reached number one and 28 appeared in the top ten, and released numerous multi-platinum albums.

Barry Manilow (born Barry Alan Pincus) was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. His parents are Edna Manilow and Harold Pincus (who bore his own stepfather’s surname, “Keliher”). Her father was born to a Jewish father and an Irish-American Catholic mother, while her maternal grandparents were of Russian Jewish descent.
