Barbara Goenaga
We don’t know if she always wanted to be an actress, but it is clear that she has always been an actress. This beautiful actress from San Sebastian, a brunette beauty with brown eyes, has traveled back in time 27 years to show that she can give life to multiple characters.
Bárbara Goenaga was born in San Sebastián on July 20, 1983. Without a doubt, the Basque actress breathed an artistic atmosphere at home, since her father is the painter Juan Luis Goenaga, and she has actress and director Aitzpea Goenaga as an aunt. Something stuck to her, because when she was three years old she began to walk in a television series to learn Basque, Bai Horixe . At the age of nine, she would make her debut in a film, The Dark Years , directed by Arantxa Lazkano. In the Basque Country, thanks to Euskal Telebista, she was acquiring tables in television series like Goenlake , in which she was between 1994 and 1999. With the desire to broaden her professional horizon, she moved to Madrid at the end of this series. She and she continued doing TV, with series like El grupo ,Halfway , The Commissioner and Condemned to understand each other . He even appeared in an episode of Central Hospital .
The girl was already an attractive young lady when Dionisio Pérez gave her the lead role in El regalo de Silvia (2003), where she worked side by side with Luis Tosar . The film was not a bombshell, but she continued to gain experience, without losing patience when the jobs were long overdue. 2006 was a good year, as she was in the Juanjo Campanella series Vientos de agua , in addition to acting in Amor en defensa propia, along with Ana Fernández .
2007 would make Goenaga a definitively popular actress. Not so much thanks to La luna en botella by Grojo, or Oviedo Express by Gonzalo Suárez –and that for this film she was nominated for a Goya for the most recent actress–, as for a peculiar science fiction and suspense film, Los cronocrímenes , by Nacho Watching . She was a mysterious girl in a time travel paradox plot.
From this moment on, Bárbara faces more complex acting challenges in Un poco de chocolate and La buena nueva , both from 2008. She also went through a miniseries about the 23-F coup. Recruited for Agnosia (2010), this ambitious intrigue film is highly disappointing, despite her remarkable efforts to give life to a woman afflicted with a very rare disease, who is locked in a dark room. About her work, she comments: “An actor is like a puppet after all… Of course, you always try to understand the character that has touched you, and as you work with a director, things start to occur to you. ”. The drama about the civil war Stars to Reach did n’t quite work either. On the other hand, his small role in the Argentine film No Return , a solid dramatic thriller, is a success .
Personally, Bárbara Goenaga has had Óscar Jaenada as a partner for years , and she is expecting a son from him. She helped Jaenada to perfect his Basque when he had to play an ETA member in We are all invited .
