Balti  or  Baltiroshima , real name Mohamed Salah Balti, born April 10, 1980, is a Tunisian rapper and composer. In 2003, he collaborated with the Tunisian director Mohamed Zran for the soundtrack of his film  The Prince  ; he writes, composes and interprets three pieces in addition to the end credits. Between 2004 and 2009, he gave concerts throughout Tunisia but also in Europe, notably performing with Rohff, Tandem, Sinik and Diam’s. At that time, he was considered the most famous rapper in Tunisia. In 2008, he founded his group X-Tension, which released its first official album, entitled  Notre monde en vrai.. After being described as the official rapper of the Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali regime, expelled as part of the revolution, he retired temporarily before returning in 2012 with a success:  Stop violence , a message addressed to young people to dissuade them from commit crimes. In 2014, Balti returned with an anti-terrorism single titled  Kill Somebody  and preceded by a trailer announcing his death.

  • Balti , just released their new music video “  Ya Lili  ”. This is a duet with the young Tunisian singer Hammouda. Posted on the Youtube social network on October 28, the video is currently at 380 million views. A record figure never recorded in Tunisia. The music video even racked up a million views just 24 hours after it was posted. A great success!
