1. Axwell was drawn to music from an early age. He learned drums on his own at the age of 9 and started making music on his computer at the age of 13.
2. As a teenager he was very active in the tracking music scene and had released many sour techno tracks under the moniker Quazar .
3. Axwell has won the DJ Awards 2010 and 2011 in the category “Best House DJ”. He was also included in DJ Magazine’s Top DJ 100 poll at #19 in 2013.
4. He suffers from tinnitus, which causes a constant ringing or buzzing in his ears.
