Axl Rose is an American singer who uses his unique voice to confuse his high school teachers and has won millions of hearts on live tours and legendary music releases. However, his rough childhood and notorious manners left him frustrated while growing up. Despite his past, Axl became the lead singer and co-founder of legendary hard rock band Guns N Roses . He was the only member who never left the group since its inception in 1985. Rose was named the greatest singer of all time by The Rolling Stones in 2017. - When Axl was born, his mother was 16 and his father, Bruce, was 20. At the time of his birth, Axl’s mother was still a high school student.
- At the age of 2, Axl was kidnapped and abused by his own father after his parents divorced.
- Axl was believed to be suffering from an abnormal condition called psychosis.
- Rose’s birth wasn’t something his teenage parents planned.
- Axl’s stepfather would also physically abuse him, his mother, and his stepbrother, and would sexually abuse his stepsister.
- Axl began developing his vocal skills at a young age at a church his parents attended every Sunday. There his first group called “Bailey Trio” began.
- In October 1990, Rose was devastated by a miscarriage suffered by Erin Everly.
