Also known as Punk Queen, Avril Lavinge is famous for her rebel-style song that mixes punk with rock. With her tomboyish looks and tough attitude of hers, Avril Lavinge was the teen sensation in the early 2000s and gained huge popularity among both girls and boys. Her fashion and her singing style influenced her generation and with her debut album Hers ‘Let It Go’ (2002) which was released when she was just eighteen years old it was certified Platinum. Although her father was a French immigrant, she was born in Canada and began singing at an early age. In total, she has released five studio albums. Let Go (2002), Under My Skin (2004), The Best Damn Thing (2007), Goodbye Lullaby (2011) and self-titled Avril Lavinge (2013) . In addition to his successful music career, he has also appeared in various television series and movies. Avril Ramona Lavinge was born on September 27, 1984 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Jean Claude Joeseph Lavinge and mother Judith Rosanne Loshaw. She also has a brother named Mathew and a sister named Michelle. She is Canadian by nationality and has French citizenship as well due to her father being French.
Lavinge attended Ontario’s Napanee District High School, but eventually dropped out to focus on her dream, namely a music career.
In her young age, Avril Lavinge idolized Shania Twain, Gareth Brooks, and the Dixie Chicks . At the age of 14, she began writing her own songs and one of her first songs titled ‘I Can’t Stop Thinking About You’ was about her teenage love interest.
In addition to her lavish lifestyle, Lavinge also wins a private mansion in Los Angeles worth around $9.5 million. She also owns several cars including Bentley Continental GTC ($195000) and also Jeep Wrangler ($36000)
Avril Lavinge’s personal life
On July 15, 2006, Avril Lavinge married SUM 41 singer Deryk Whibley in California. But the marriage couldn’t last long and they got divorced in November 2010. After her split with the Sum 41 singer, she got hooked up with the Hills star. Brody Jenner .
They dated for two years and broke up in January 2012. After July 2012, she began dating the Nickelback singer. Chad Kroger .
The couple got married in July 2013 but unfortunately the relationship did not last and Lavinge announced their separation via Instagram but the divorce has not been made official.
In addition to her acting and music career, Lavinge has also been involved in various charities with Make Some Noise, Amnesty International, Special Olympics, Make A Wish Foundation, and War Child.
Lavinge also has her own foundation called The Avril Lavinge Foundation, an organization to help young people with disabilities and serious illnesses. In 2015 she launched a personal fundraising campaign for Special Olympics on the occasion of her birthday.
