    In a viral livestream clip circulating on social media, Peller was seen encouraging Jarvis to freely ask him for money whenever she needed it.

    Peller Speaks About Money And Responsibility

    According to him, he currently has enough resources to support her lifestyle and ensure she remains comfortable.

    “Babe, please be billing me. Feel free to ask me for money anytime you need it. Money is very plenty on the ground right now and I want you to stay healthy and comfortable,” he said.

    He further stated that concerns about bills and expenses should not bother her because he was ready to handle responsibilities.

    “You know those bills people are talking about don’t matter because I already have my own house. Leave those unnecessary worries for me. I’m ready to take care of everything for you,” he added.

    Plans For Business Together

    Peller also disclosed plans for them to venture into business together instead of endlessly discussing ideas without action.

    According to him, they could immediately begin setting up a business venture, including opening a spa.

    “Let’s open a business together. If it’s a spa we want, by tomorrow morning we can rent a shop and start moving things immediately,” he stated.

    The pair have continued to fuel relationship speculation online through frequent affectionate interactions during livestreams and social media appearances.

  • Tinubu Confirms Killing Of Senior ISIS Leader In Joint Nigeria-US Operation

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has confirmed the killing of senior Islamic State commander Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki, also known as Abu-Mainok, during a joint counterterrorism operation carried out by Nigerian and United States forces in the Lake Chad Basin.

    In a statement released from the State House on Saturday, Tinubu described the overnight operation as a major breakthrough in the fight against terrorism and praised the collaboration between both countries.

    Tinubu Praises Joint Military Strike

    According to the president, the Nigerian Armed Forces worked closely with U.S. military personnel to execute what he described as a daring operation against the terrorist group.

    “Overnight, Nigeria and the United States recorded a significant example of effective collaboration in the fight against terrorism,” Tinubu stated.

    “Early assessments confirm the elimination of the wanted IS senior leader, Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki, also known as Abu-Mainok, along with several of his lieutenants, during a strike on his compound in the Lake Chad Basin.”

    Tinubu also thanked Donald Trump for supporting the operation.

    “Nigeria appreciates this partnership with the United States in advancing our shared security objectives,” he added.

    Trump Calls Terrorist ‘Most Active In The World’

    Trump had earlier confirmed the operation in a statement shared on Truth Social on Friday.

    The U.S. president described Al-Manuki as “the most active terrorist in the world” and claimed he was the second-in-command of ISIS globally.

    “Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission,” Trump wrote.

    He further stated that the terrorist leader believed he could hide in Africa without detection.

    “Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing,” he said.

    Renewed Offensive Against Terror Groups

    The operation comes amid intensified military offensives against insurgent groups operating across the North-East and Lake Chad region.

    Islamic State-linked factions have continued to launch attacks on military formations and civilian communities in the region despite ongoing security operations.

    Trump also noted that Al-Manuki had been placed under U.S. sanctions in 2023 because of his links to the Islamic State group.

    “With his removal, ISIS’s global operation is greatly diminished,” he stated.

  • Man Sentenced To Two Years In Prison Over False Death Post About Adekunle Gold’s Daughter

    A social media user identified as Samuel Adeboye Adeyeye, popularly known on X as Swanky_concept, has been sentenced to two years imprisonment for spreading false information online about the daughter of Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold and Simi.

    The sentencing followed a controversial post in which the user falsely claimed that the couple’s daughter, Deja, had died.

    False Post Triggered Outrage

    The misleading post, shared on X, quickly sparked reactions online after the user wrote:

    “My sincere condolences to the Adekunle family. Rip to Deja.”

    The post reportedly generated widespread outrage, with many social media users condemning the circulation of false and sensitive information involving a child.

    Authorities later moved against the suspect over the publication.

    Court Sentences Defendant

    According to reports, Samuel was arraigned before the court and eventually pleaded guilty to charges linked to spreading false information with malicious intent.

    He was subsequently sentenced on May 15 to two years imprisonment.

    The development has continued to generate conversations online, with many Nigerians debating the growing spread of misinformation and harmful content across social media platforms.

  • Trump Claims US, Nigerian Forces Killed Top ISIS Commander In Joint Operation

    Donald Trump has claimed that American forces and the Nigerian military carried out a joint operation that allegedly eliminated a top ISIS commander in Africa.

    In a statement shared online, Trump said the operation targeted Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, whom he described as the second-in-command of ISIS globally and one of the terror group’s most active operatives.

    Trump Praises Nigerian Military Partnership

    According to Trump, the mission was conducted alongside the Nigerian Armed Forces after intelligence reportedly tracked the suspect’s movements and activities across Africa.

    He claimed the operation was highly coordinated and would weaken ISIS operations globally.

    “Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission,” Trump stated.

    He further alleged that the deceased terrorist had been involved in planning operations capable of targeting both Africans and Americans.

    “ISIS Global Operation Greatly Diminished”

    Trump said the operation would significantly reduce the capabilities of the terrorist organisation.

    “He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans,” he said.

    “With his removal, ISIS’s global operation is greatly diminished.”

    The U.S. president also thanked the Nigerian government for cooperating in the operation and praised the forces involved.

    No Official Nigerian Confirmation Yet

    As of the time of filing this report, Nigerian military authorities and the Federal Government had not officially confirmed the operation or the reported killing of Abu-Bilal al-Minuki.

    The statement has, however, generated widespread reactions online amid ongoing security concerns surrounding extremist groups operating across parts of Africa.

  • Nigeria Approves 30-Day Visa-Free Entry For Rwandans After Tinubu-Kagame Meeting

    Nigeria has approved a 30-day visa-free entry policy for citizens of Rwanda, marking a new step in strengthening diplomatic and travel relations between both countries.

    The development was announced on Friday by the Nigeria Immigration Service, which confirmed that all arrangements had been concluded for the implementation of the directive approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

    Tinubu, Kagame Deepen Bilateral Talks

    The decision comes shortly after Tinubu’s visit to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum held on Thursday.

    Ahead of the summit, the Nigerian President held a bilateral meeting with Paul Kagame at the Urugwiro Presidential Villa.

    According to reports, both leaders discussed areas of cooperation including trade, tourism, regional integration and security collaboration.

    During the meeting, Tinubu reportedly hinted that Nigeria was considering adopting a visa-free policy similar to Rwanda’s existing 30-day entry arrangement for Nigerians.

    Officials believe the new policy will improve movement between both countries while boosting tourism, business activities and diplomatic exchanges.

    The visa-free arrangement is also expected to further deepen economic and cultural ties between Nigeria and Rwanda as both countries continue to expand cooperation across multiple sectors.

  • Tinubu Returns To Lagos After France, Kenya, Rwanda Trip Ahead Of APC Primaries

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Lagos following his official visits to France, Kenya and Rwanda.

    The President’s aircraft reportedly landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at about 7:12 p.m. on Friday.

    Sanwo-Olu, Gbajabiamila Receive Tinubu

    According to a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu was received by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa and other government officials.

    The Presidency said Tinubu held meetings with global investors during his stay in France, where he reportedly highlighted his administration’s economic reforms, transparency and fiscal discipline policies.

    Tinubu Attends Africa Forward Summit

    The President also attended the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, alongside other African leaders and business executives.

    The summit was co-hosted by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto.

    At the event, Tinubu reportedly called for reforms in the global financial system and stronger African economic integration.

    He also spoke on Nigeria’s blue economy potential and pledged to share the country’s maritime intelligence infrastructure with willing Gulf of Guinea nations.

    Meetings In Rwanda

    During the trip, Tinubu also held a bilateral meeting with Madagascan President Michael Randrianirina.

    In Kigali, Rwanda, the Nigerian leader participated in the Africa CEO Forum alongside investors, CEOs and African leaders discussing regional integration and investment opportunities across the continent.

    He also met with Paul Kagame and delegations from multinational organisations including the International Finance Corporation and APM Terminals.

    According to the Presidency, the meetings recorded “notable favourable outcomes.”

    APC Primaries Next

    The statement further disclosed that Tinubu would participate in the upcoming All Progressives Congress primaries scheduled to begin on Saturday in Lagos.

    The President had earlier urged party members to maintain peace and conduct themselves responsibly during the exercise.

    He added that expectations for quality infrastructure must be matched with fiscal responsibility from citizens.

    “You want a very good highway, but you don’t want it to go through your land. How do you develop?” he asked.

    The President went further to link tax compliance with citizenship status, saying it reflects participation in nation-building.

    “A citizen who pays taxes is a citizen, whether corporate or individual. If you are not a taxpayer and not exempted, then you are not a citizen,” Tinubu stated.

    He added that taxation remains central to funding healthcare, education, and innovation, including pharmaceutical research and emergency responses like the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Tax Reforms Under Spotlight

    The remarks come as the federal government intensifies tax reforms aimed at broadening Nigeria’s revenue base and reducing dependence on borrowing.

    The administration has consistently argued that improved tax compliance is key to financing infrastructure and stabilising public finances amid rising debt servicing costs.

  • Terrorists Invade Borno School, Many Children Feared Abducted In Askira-Uba Attack

    Many schoolchildren are feared abducted after suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists invaded Mussa Primary and Junior Secondary School in Askira-Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.

    The attack reportedly occurred on Friday morning when the armed men stormed the school on motorcycles shortly after troops had left the community.

    Terrorists Strike Minutes After Troop Movement

    According to eyewitness accounts shared on social media, the attackers arrived barely 15 minutes after military personnel left the area, raising concerns that the movement of troops may have been monitored.

    In a post, Mr Solomon Mussa said schoolchildren were affected and called for urgent prayers as the situation unfolded.

    The Deputy Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Abdullahi Askira, who hails from the area, also confirmed the incident.

    “Yes, I can confirm to you that some suspected terrorists riding on motorcycles invaded primary and junior secondary schools in Mussa village this morning,” he said.

    Students Flee Into Bush Amid Chaos

    The lawmaker noted that many students reportedly fled into nearby bushes during the attack, although the exact number of those abducted remains unclear.

    He added that the timing of the invasion, shortly after troops withdrew, suggests the attackers may have been tracking military movements before striking.

    “It is also disheartening that the incident took place barely some few minutes after troops on patrol left the community,” he said.

    The police in Borno State were yet to issue an official response at the time of filing this report.

    Mussa village, located near the border of Sambisa Forest, has long been considered vulnerable due to its proximity to known insurgent hideouts.

    Growing Security Concerns in North-East

    The latest attack adds to ongoing concerns about renewed insurgent activity in parts of the North-East, especially in rural communities with limited security presence.

    Authorities are expected to provide further updates as investigations continue into the possible abduction figures and the current status of the affected students.

  • EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO Over Alleged ₦36m Fraud In Lagos

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned popular social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist Blessing CEO over an alleged ₦36 million fraud case.

    Blessing CEO, whose real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, was arraigned on Friday before Justice D.I. Dipeolu at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.

    EFCC Files Two-Count Charge

    According to the anti-graft agency, the influencer is facing a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and alleged theft.

    The EFCC alleged that Blessing CEO fraudulently obtained ₦36 million from one Mrs Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye between July 14 and 17, 2024.

    According to the charge, the money was allegedly collected under the pretence of leasing a six-bedroom detached duplex located at No. 1B Tunbosun Osobu Street, off Kuboye Road, Lekki, Lagos State.

    The commission said the representation was false and contrary to the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006.

    Defence Mentions Refund Of ₦24m

    During proceedings, defence counsel P.I. Nwafor informed the court that the defendant had already refunded ₦24 million to the petitioner.

    “We are asking for a short adjournment to resolve the outstanding balance,” the lawyer told the court.

    He also stated that the nominal complainant had allegedly agreed to prevail on the EFCC to discontinue the matter if the remaining balance was paid.

    However, prosecuting counsel S.I. Suleiman opposed the request, insisting that the Federal Government of Nigeria remained the complainant in the criminal case.

    “We are here for the arraignment. We urge that the defendant take her plea,” the prosecutor said.

    Court Orders Remand

    Justice Dipeolu ruled that discussions between the defendant and the complainant would not stop the criminal proceedings before the court.

    The judge subsequently directed Blessing CEO to take her plea.

    She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

    Following the plea, the prosecution asked the court to remand her in a correctional facility pending trial.

    Her lawyer, however, requested that she be kept in EFCC custody pending the perfection of her bail conditions.

    Justice Dipeolu granted the request and ordered that the influencer be remanded in EFCC custody.

    The matter was adjourned till June 5, 2026, for commencement of trial.

    Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has reportedly acquired a luxury mansion in London valued at £53 million, approximately N96 billion.

    According to a report by Bloomberg, the 10-bedroom property is located in the prestigious St John’s Wood district near Regent’s Park in London.

    Luxury Mansion Features Cinema, Spa

    Reports indicated that the mansion was built in 2016 and comes with several luxury facilities including a private cinema, spa and cigar room.

    The property was reportedly listed for sale in 2020 with an initial asking price of £75 million before the recent acquisition.

    A filing in the United Kingdom was also said to have confirmed the purchase, although representatives of the billionaire businessman reportedly declined to comment on the deal.

    London Luxury Market Still Attracting Billionaires

    The acquisition comes amid continued activity in London’s luxury housing market despite increasing taxes and policy changes affecting foreign residents.

    According to reports, sales of properties valued above £5 million reportedly declined by 28 percent in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.

    Despite the drop, several mega property deals above £20 million have still been completed this year.

    Earlier in 2026, businessman Suneil Setiya reportedly acquired a Chelsea mansion owned by Nick Candy for more than £270 million.

    John Aylward also reportedly purchased a Belgravia mansion valued at £35 million.

    Otedola’s Expanding Investments

    Otedola is widely known for investments spanning finance, power generation, shipping, storage and insurance brokerage.

    He currently serves as chairman and largest shareholder of First HoldCo Plc.

    Reports also recalled that Roosevelt Ogbonna, the Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, reportedly purchased a £15 million property in London’s Hampstead area, popularly called “Billionaires’ Row,” in 2025.

    Social Media Reactions Trail Purchase

    The reported acquisition has continued to spark reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing mixed opinions about the billionaire’s latest investment.

    While some users congratulated Otedola, others questioned why wealthy Nigerians continue investing heavily abroad instead of channeling more resources into local development projects.
