With him Audrey Hepburn found happiness, until the death of the star, although he had previously been married to Merle Oberon. As an actor, Robert Wolders stood out above all with television series such as “Laredo” or “Bewitched”. The interpreter has passed away at the age of 81, on July 12, 2018.

Born in the Netherlands on September 28, 1936,  Robert Wolders  studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He made his television debut in  Flipper , after which he took part in numerous series of the sixties, such as  El agente de CIPOL,  Embrujada  or  La chica de la tele . He is remembered – especially in the United States – as Erik Hunter, in the series set in the old west,  Laredo . His attractive appearance and foreign accent made a good impression on the viewers.

In cinema, he appeared in  Tobruk , alongside  Rock Hudson , and stood out in  Interval , a romantic drama from 1973, where he played a man who seduces the protagonist,  Merle Oberon , a woman who escaped to Mexico fleeing from her past. Love arose between them, and they married, after which Wolders temporarily abandoned acting, until he became a widower in 1979. He then joined  Audrey Hepburn , with whom he got along much better than his previous partners. He was with her when he died in 1993.
