April Lee Hernandez began her career as a comedian at the famous New York Comedy Club in New York City. She then got her first break on screen as the girl Yo/Yoa along with NBA All-Star, Yoa Ming in the 2004 Super Bowl Visa Check Card national commercial.
He made his acting debut in 2003 with a short film, Big Wes . After a year he made his television debut with the legal drama and police procedural television series, Law & Order .
They had known each other since their high school days, they were just friends at first, but they eventually fell in love. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Verano Rose Castillo on September 30, 2012. After five years, they were blessed with another girl, Lyla Isabela Castillo (born March 23, 2017).
