ANSU FATI: HIS AGE, HIS PARTNER AND HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH ISLAM
Born in 2002 in Guinea Bissau, he stayed in his country while his father came to Spain to find a life and work. He first passed through Portugal, but later he got a job in a town in Seville as a driver. When they finally had stability, Ansu moved to our country with his mother and his brothers.
«I arrived in Spain when I was 7 years old with all my brothers. My father worked here and when he had the opportunity to bring us, we came with my mother and my brothers. Thanks to him I can say that I fulfilled my dream and the truth is that I owe everything to my father and my mother”, he explained in an interview on Barça TV .
After growing up playing in neighborhood teams and training in the Seville city, at just 10 years old he became one of La Masía’s bets for the future. That caused both him and his family to move to the Catalan capital with the great support that comes from having the Blaugrana club.
2019 was a great year for him, as Ansu Fati signed his first professional contract with Barcelona, later making his debut at just 16 years of age. Among his achievements are being the youngest player in the history of the first team to score a goal in the first division.
HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH ISLAM
Although he gave up representing his country of origin and playing with the Spanish National Team, Ansu has not lost his roots, religion being one of them. «My family is Muslim and we believe, always with work and with the help of God, everything is possible. In my injuries I have prayed a lot. I ask for health for my family, the last thing I ask for is for myself,” he commented in the aforementioned interview on his club’s official channel.
