Another Ekiti-Born Sets To Break Guinness World Record
A Nigerian student from Ekiti state is set to start a film-watching marathon for 121hrs to break Guinness World Record after his application
The Guinness record-breaking has provided the opportunity for many people who want to have their name imprinted on the sand of time to try to set a record by attempting to do what no one has done before or surpassing a popular record that has earlier been set in history. Hilda Bacil a Nigeria chef was one of the many people who had attempted to set a record, although she is not the first Nigerian to try and break a record but she became anyways the pioneer of people wanting to break records in Nigeria and the whole social media frenzy give her and record body the attention that it has never received before.
Additionally, after the trial of Hilda to break the Cook-a-thon record, many people have been coming up among the Nigerian youth to try and set a record themselves, as she has successfully popularized the event and raised the bar high for those to come. Well, among those coming up to break the Guinness world record in a category is a man named Israel Adebiyi from Ekiti State Nigeria, who had indicated interest in breaking the longest time time spent watching a movie.
The Nigerian student from Ekiti state is set to start a film-watching marathon for 121hrs to break Guinness World Record after his application got accepted and if he successfully breaks the record, he will be the first Nigerian to set the record and another Ekiti-born to attempt breaking Guinness world record after Chef Dami of Ekiti is attempting to break Hilda Bacil Cook-a-thon record by cooking for 120 hours. Although it is not going to be easy sitting before a screen for that number of hours we however wish him best of luck.
