On August 24, 1947, Anne Archer was born in Los Angeles (California), the place where her parents lived, forced by their profession, since both were veterans and prolific secondary film and television: John Archer (Playing with Death ) and Marjorie Lord ( The Lost Volcano ). From a very young age, she admired the work of her parents, and it was clear to her that she was on the same path. She studied drama at Claremont College, and then she played roles in television series until she made her film debut with a small role in the western The Centaurs . Soon after, she earned critical acclaim for her work in the sports drama The All American Boy , in which Jon Voight played a young boxer.
In the 1970s, Anne Archer starred in the drama Lifeguard , with Sam Elliott , and had her biggest hits paired with two action stars, Chuck Norris inThe brave wear black , and Sylvester Stallone , inHell’s Kitchen . Next, and after Finally hero andRescue the Titanic , felt that he was not getting the recognition he was looking for in the cinema.
