Anna Kendrick
She was well known to fans of Twilight , but she has surprised the rest of the public with her role as an executive in Up in the Air . Since then, the young Anna Kendrick has not stopped receiving award nominations.
Born on August 9, 1985 in Portland (Maine), Anna Kenddrick comes from the Broadway musical. For her work in the staging of “High Society” – a revival of the musical inspired by The Philadelphia Story – she was nominated for a Tony, becoming the second youngest actress to achieve this distinction. She also shared the stage with Jeremy Irons , in “A Little Night Music”.
In the cinema, she took part in small, small-time roles, until she was given the character of Bella Swank’s talkative friend in Twilight , a role she repeated in New Moon , the sequel. However, her role was so minor that she did not become a star, like Robert Pattinson or the werewolf Taylor Lautner .
Jason Reitman trusted the young actress to play the executive who intends to revolutionize George Clooney ‘s methods of firing employees , in Up in the Air . And the truth is that both she and the other leading actress, Vera Farmiga , have received critical acclaim and numerous nominations for various awards, such as the BAFTAs and the Golden Globes.
Despite her youth, Anna Kendrick displays enormous intelligence in interviews. “I get asked by all my girlfriends what it’s like to work with hot guys like Robert Pattinson and George Clooney.
