The 32-year-old spouse of Mayank Singhvi committed suicide but his father, who is a retired major-general, has something more to say. He filed a complaint at the police station last month. He mentioned in the complaint that her daughter is physically and mentally tortured by her husband and her in-laws. Later, the retired Major added: “If she is physically harmed, her husband and her parents should be held responsible.”

By the time the flight attendant’s husband reached the terrace, she had already jumped. Later, he took her to the nearby hospital where he pronounced her dead.
