Andy was 2 years old when Fidel Castro came to power in Cuba in the 1959 Bay of Pigs Invasion in 1961 Andy’s father relocated his wife and 3 children, including 5-year-old Andy, to Miami, Florida. After moving to the USA, the García family founded a perfume company, which over time has developed into a successful multi-million dollar business.
  2. When he was born he had remains of an undeveloped, conjoined twin attached to his shoulder. The twin was the size of a grapefruit and had to be surgically removed. All that’s left is a scar from that surgery.
  3. He is good friends with fellow actor Mickey Rourke. Rourke was his baseball coach while a student at Miami Beach Senior High School.
