BIOGRAPHY OF ANDREW SHUE
Andrew Shue (born as: Andrew Eppley Shue) is an American actor best known for appearing on the Melrose Place series from 1992 to 1999 as Billy Campbell. He is the founder of CafeMom, a social networking website, and sits on the board of Do Something, a global non-profit organization he co-founded with childhood friend Michael Sanchez. The organization’s goal is to motivate young people to bring about positive change online and offline through campaigns that have an impact.

Shue began acting in May 1992 when he appeared on Aaron Spelling’s soap opera Melrose Place as Billy Campbell opposite Courtney Thorne-Smith. The duo came out later. He played his character for six years while taking on other film roles. ANDREW SHUE MELROSE PLACE
Melrose Place was a primetime soap opera that aired on Fox for seven seasons from July 8, 1992 to May 24, 1999. It follows the lives of a group of young adults living in an apartment complex called Melrose Place, in West Hollywood , in California. Shue appeared on the show as Billy Campbell, a struggling writer adjusting to life outside of his parents’ control.

The website provided an online community for mums to connect and share tips and ideas, but was shut down at 5:00 p.m. on May 24, 2018 due to high advertising costs. Its main investors are Highland Capital Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. It now includes a family of businesses that encompasses a blog called The Stir, Baby Name Wizard, and popular Latina site MamasLatinas.
