Andres Resino
Andrés Resino shot twenty films, had a long career on the theater stage and at the end of his career he concentrated on television. He stood out especially as a villain in the hit series “El super”. The actor died in Cantabria, at the age of 70, as a result of cancer, on March 13, 2011.
Born in Velada (Toledo) on November 6, 1940, Andrés Resino Fernández abandoned his studies in Political Science to enroll in the Official School of Interpretation. There he has Pedro Olea as a partner , who gave him the leading role in his first film as a director, Días de viejo color , about three friends on vacation in Torremolinos.
Between the 1970s and 1980s, he shot numerous titles such as Walpurgis Night , The Wrath of the Wind or Even if the Hormone Wears Silk . He alternates his film career with numerous plays.
Between 1996 and 1999 he was the villain of the series El super , his role most remembered by the general public. Later he participated in the series Agente 700 and El auténtico Rodrigo Leal .
Cousin of soccer player Abel Resino, he was married to actress Eva León . Both were parents of Mercedes Resino, who is also dedicated to acting.
