Andre Leon Talley is an American fashion journalist. He was previously the American editor of Vogue magazine.Talley also held the position of international editor of the Russian fashion magazine Nombre .
In 2008, Talley advised the former First Family on fashion and introduced Michelle Obama to Taiwanese-Canadian designer Jason Wu. She then purchased various dresses from Jason Wu, including her inaugural dress.
In 2003, Talley received the Eugenia Sheppard Award for Outstanding Fashion Journalism from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. He was also interviewed with Larry King, Larry King Live , CNN, July 2, 2005.
