Andre Emmett was an American professional basketball player who died last year in 2019. The late Emmett started his career early while in high school. He played basketball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders in high school. Later, when he started playing as a senior in 2004, he became consensus All-American. The same year, the NBA draft included him in the second round. Consequently, he had a short spell to play with the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Jersey Nets.
