He was supposed to appear on the show Wife Swap, but never filmed an episode. She and Ron started the business in 1998 with nothing but a single truck.

TruTV’s network execs were only supposed to scout their part of town in North Carolina for TV prospects, and they left realizing that Amy was a perfect synthesis of the type of personality they were looking for. . She appeared as a guest on Conan O’Brien’s talk show, Conan.
