She has appeared in television outtakes and musical recordings as a performer. She has posted print promotions for Apple and Verizon PCs has been in takes for Shoe Carnival and Japanese soda organization Suntory and has done voice-over work for AT&T.
In 2007, she took a job on the television show Californication with David Duchovny. Additionally, in 2007, Okuda got the job of Tinkerballa in The Guild, his first repetitive job. As part of the deal, she has been in the majority of scenes on the show, except for a few scenes in Season 3 where her character was referenced but not seen.
