1. Amy’s mother suffered from cervical cancer for almost 10 months before she died.
2. When she was offered to play Julie Emrick on Bliss she considered turning it down as she wanted to be with her mom in recent days.
3. After watching a part of bliss for 2 years, she left the show and stated in an interview that the main reason for quitting was because she wanted to grieve for her mother, which the show meant she couldn’t.
4. As a child, she studied gymnastics and even broke a bone in one of her elbows.
5. She has dual citizenship as she is already a citizen of the United States and on June 23, 2015 she also became a citizen of Canada.
6. At 18 she moved to New York to pursue her dream of acting.
7. After attending theaters in New York, she moved to Los Angeles to audition.
8. Less than a month after moving to Los Angeles,Amy got her first big break when she was cast as Kimberly Hart, the pink ranger, in the first episode of the Power Rangers series, “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.”
