WHAT HAPPENED TO AMY AQUINO?
Amy Aquino and Edie Falco , known for her roles as Diane Whittlesey on the HBO series Oz and Carmela Soprano on the HBO series The Sopranos, are seen to be lookalikes. At the 2015 SAG Awards, Billy had the top spot of the day… It was Edie Falco… Or so he thought. Billy released his picture of Nurse Jackie for Edie Falco. And screamed and screamed.
In fact, when you’re thrashing and screaming, Edie can sound a lot like Amy…just like Amy Aquino, one of the SAG board members and star of Brooklyn Bridge and Everybody Loves Raymond. So when Amy Aquino came to sign for Billy, she said, ‘Oh, you’re so sweet!’ Billy said: ‘I’ve been trying to get you to sign this picture for three years!’ showing her picture of Nurse Jackie (clearly Billy is a big fan of the show). Amy said: ‘But that’s not me!’
