Amy Adams
The story of a girl who knew how to return the naivete to the characters without turning them into fools. To give them a luminosity that today is being lost, alien to the pink ribbons and other kitsch.
Once upon a time there was a girl with six siblings who was born in Vicenza (Italy), while her father, who is in the military, was stationed there. It was August 20, 1974 when the little girl came into the world at the Aviano base. An anecdotal place in her life, as the family soon moved to Castle Rock, Colorado. Her singing skills led her to join her high school choir, though what she soon began to draw her attention to was her interpretation. Something that was not entirely unusual, since her father was an amateur actor. She enrolled in Minnesota’s Chanhassen Dinner Theater, where she performed in several plays, and she completed her training with dance studies. She took her first steps as an actress in a café-theater, until she made her film debut as a secondary in Muérete, bonita(1999), a comedy aimed at young audiences. Her small role offered her the opportunity to work opposite Kirsten Dunst , who starred in the film. Immediately afterwards, she returned to being a secondary in another film for young people, Psycho Beach Party (2000).
Her concerns led her to divide her time between film and television. In the latter, she participated in series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer , Smallville or The West Wing of the White House , although without ever having a prominent role. Meanwhile, in the cinema the secondary roles followed one another, Cruel intentions 2 (2000), Hanging from Sara (2002). Perhaps the candor of her gaze was alien to the glamor and adequacy of Hollywood stars, perhaps it was a lack of luck, perhaps a lack of opportunities. The thing is, the little redheaded ant didn’t get the chance of her, but she kept working methodically. She then she knocked on her door the great king Steven Spielberg, who was enthusiastic about the test he did for Catch Me If You Can (2002). Unanimously with the gentleman Leonardo DiCaprio , she was chosen to play Brenda, the sweet, simple and honest young woman who falls in love with the protagonist. Also, the role of her gave her the chance to be the daughter of veteran Martin Sheen .
After the Spielberg experience, a few years passed until the actress had her big break in Junebug (2005). Her portrayal of Ashley, a young pregnant provincial girl full of humanity, earned her an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress. However, the treacherous lord of gold did not give him fame or a career made in Hollywood. After her recognition, titles without significance followed, such as the comedy Pasado de vueltas (2006), where she was secondary. But Giselle showed up, the interpretive shoe last of hers. The angelic woman became a fairytale princess in Enchanted. Giselle’s story. The film tells the odyssey of a fairy tale princess who is transferred to the real world, where she will live an authentic adventure. Her interpretation is capable of making you laugh and cry, while she serves to demonstrate her gift for the song. Her perfect demonstration of her candidness and strength have been the beginning of a yellow brick road that can take her beyond Oz. For the moment, his first steps are encouraging, as he has just released Charlie Wilson’s War , where he shares the lead with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts , and A Great Day for Them is pending , where he drives Frances McDormand and Sunshine Cleaning crazy ., where is a mother courage.
And red bunting, to date, the story of the portentous Amy Adams, has ended.
