AMAZING FACTS ABOUT BIMBO ADEMOYE; FAST RISING NIGERIAN ACTRESS
Bimbo Ademoye is a Nigerian actress who is rapidly rising in the acting profession, as she has built quite a name for herself in the industry. She recently appeared in Sugar Rush alongside Adesua Etomi and Bisola Aiyeola.
Her popularity grew after her role in the 2017 film Backup Wife.
BIMBO ADEMOYE’S BRIEF HISTORY
Abimbola Aisha Ademoye, also known as Bimbo, was born in Lagos on February 4, 1991 to Mr Ademoye, her father, who raised her alone after she was separated from her mother at a young age.
She attended basic school at St. Margaret’s Primary School in Ikorodu, Lagos, and later attended secondary school at Mayflower School in Ikenne, Ogun State, before graduating from Covenant University with a degree in Business Administration.
Bimbo Ademoye revealed in an interview with the Punch Newspaper that her father has always supported her acting career and has never turned her down.
Bimbo is 30 years old, having been born on February 4th, 1991.
BIMBO’S ACTING JOURNEY
When Bimbo Ademoye was seven years old, she realized she had a talent for acting. She was performing in a stage play in front of a crowd of around 600 people at the time. She felt like a celebrity as they applauded her at the end of the performance, and she decided to pursue a career as an actress.
She used to sell human hair extensions before she started attending movie auditions. She had also held positions as a presenter, marketer, and front desk officer.
After attending multiple auditions, Uduak Isong-Oguamanam, Bimbo Ademoye said her acting career began in 2014 when she was cast in the short film Where Talent Lies, according to The Daily Independent newspaper. The Africa International Film Festival bestowed awards on the film.
Uduak Isong, according to Bimbo Ademoye, was her mentor who helped her get into the industry. In 2015, Ademoye starred in a movie produced by Isong in her debut feature film, “it’s About Your Husband”.
Bimbo Ademoye was named one of five actors expected to have a great career by the end of the year in a 2018 compilation by Premium Times newspaper.
She has been described by media outlets as a stylish and trendy lady.
