Allison Miller

Some girls do want to be princesses, and Allison Millers is one of them. Her princely role in her original TV series Kings has set her on fire, leading to a couple of theatrical movies, which could be the start of her romance with the big screen.

Allison Miller is a genuinely American actress. But, as fate would have it, this light-eyed brunette was born in beautiful Rome, Italy, on September 2, 1985. As a young girl, the future actress moved around the United States a lot due to her father’s journalistic profession at The Daily Olympian, so it made its rounds in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Florida. It was precisely in this state, in Tallahassee, where she graduated from Maclay Institute; and she also started her university stage there, and she would become fond of theater when she entered the Young Actor’s Theatre. Among the works that she represented is one that became a flag of a certain feminism, “The Vagina Monologues” by Eve Ensler, typical of off-Broadway. She would eventually move to complete studies at Rhodes College, near Memphis.

Wanting Allison to jumpstart her acting career, she was placed as a finalist in a group of eight actresses to participate in the reality show In Search of the New Partridge Family . In 2006 she saw clearly that if she wanted to get off the ground as an actress she had to move to Hollywood. Said and done, she managed to find a place in some television series, with sporadic roles: General Hospital , CSI: NY , Boston Legal and Desperate Housewives . But it wouldn’t be until she got into Kings, a series inspired by King David, but transferred to an imaginary time, where he gave life to Princess Michelle, when the public began to pay attention to the twenty-something actress. This fact coincided with her first forays into her cinema, in 17 again , a very nice youth comedy that she joined with Zac Efron , and a slightly ‘Martian’ vampire titled Blood: The Last Vampire .
