Alice Hermida
She became very loved for her role as Valentina, in “Cuéntame cómo pasó.” The actress Alicia Hermida died on February 9, 2022, at the age of 89, in a residence for the elderly in Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid) where she lived with her husband, the also actor Jaime Losada. “She was my great teacher,” declared María Galiana, her partner in her fiction.
Born in Madrid on September 26, 1932, Alicia Pérez Herranz –her real name– joined the María Guerrero Theater Company in Madrid after completing her high school studies.
After a prolific career on stage, Alicia Hermida makes her television debut with Galería de esposas , a series directed by Jaime de Armiñán. Numerous titles followed, including several installments of Estudio 1 , the hit filmed theater show.
In cinema, Alicia Hermida made her debut in 1960 with Maribel and the strange family , by José María Forqué . Although she doesn’t lavish herself on the big screen, she has a prominent presence in films like Gary Cooper, Who’s in Heaven , Bikes Are for Summer , The Animated Woods , and Back Roads .
She appears in Cuéntame cómo pasó from the first chapter to season 13. She played the dreamy Valentina, an inseparable friend of the Alcántara grandmother. Having experience as an acting teacher, she took care of the training of the children in the series, such as Ricardo Gómez .
