ALI WONG QUOTES
- It’s unfair for hardened stay-at-home moms to claim you can have an amazing body by chasing your kids.
- I think one of the hardest things to tackle as a comic is having money because it’s so irrelevant.
- Women, most of the time, are so much funnier than men, but they just choose not to do comedy for a living.
- Comedy has so much to do with honesty and women can be more open about their emotions.
- I’m addicted to picking my nose. In a world of paperwork and bureaucracy, where it takes forever to buy a house or set up a cell phone plan, it’s so instantaneous to just put your finger up there and look for something your own body produces. .
- Mothering is so different now than it was before. Especially with my mom. She was like the anti-helicopter mom. She was like an inflatable flamingo mom in the pool. His philosophy was, the situation will arise.
- Asian men are the sexiest. They have no hair from the neck down.
- Even now, when I go out, people tell me, “What are you doing here? Didn’t you just have a baby? But people never ask a comic book man when he comes out a week later, like, ‘Oh my God, you’re so irresponsible! What do you do? Who takes care of the baby? »
- The concept of “diversity” was that big “should” moral. And now, with the success of shows like ‘Fresh Off the Boat’, ‘Empire’, ‘Blackish’ and ‘Jane the Virgin’, ‘it’s become this big business’. must”, which is so awesome.
- Whenever I feel mommy guilt, or feel pressure to be a better mom — to cook salmon on a bed of quinoa for my kids — I just say to myself, “I…I have…suffered enough.” And then I feel good giving my toddler a bag of crisps for dinner.
- When you have a child, you think about your own mortality.
- I would love to dress like Beyonce: a custom printed neoprene catsuit with no pants.
- I’ve always loved comedy. It’s the only thing I’ve ever been good at.

I was afraid I had ruined my eyes forever, so I never went back.
This chilling story led her to find her personal aesthetic in eyewear. “I found some thin oversized metal Paul Frank glasses in a store in San Francisco. It was those old Chinese glasses that were big on my face. I liked them because they reminded me of my dad and they were only $40. She says these were her first pair of nose pads, something “revolutionary for the low-bridged Asian nose, as the other style always slid across my face when I was excited or shaking my head. . From now on, she will no longer go without glasses.
