1. As a 13-year-old she was interested in photography, acting and singing. At that time they lived in Mill Valley, California.
2. Her interest in acting was sparked by her work in the local theater productions.
3. She was cast in the lead role for the UPN drama show’s pilot, Mystery Girl. The show was not picked up, however, as potential backers were unsure that a single detective-led television series would be successful.
4. When Alex was 15, she and her mother moved to Los Angeles to help her pursue a career in Hollywood.
5. Aside from acting, she is very interested in photography and even has a dark room in her apartment. Her work has been exhibited in several art galleries in Los Angeles.
