Ever since he joined FC Porto in 2011, Alex Sandro has consistently produced strong performances on the left side of the defences. His attacking style has often compared him to Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos. Now, he may not have Carlos’ physical presence or left-footed Hammer ability, but he often repeats Roberto’s attacking play in the opposition half. His defensive skills and abilities aren’t bad either. He can easily captivate the opposing attackers and has even managed to defeat Lionel Messi properly. No wonder continental clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester United are keen to sign him.
