When Alex Morgan has a day off from soccer training, she likes to do yoga to help prevent injury. In addition to yoga classes, she also attends spin classes and does long runs. Occasionally she likes to go swimming. The basic mantra of your fitness routine is to mix it up in such a way that the body doesn’t get used to and unresponsive to any routine.

She credits her washboard abs to many running. Alex also occasionally does ten-minute ab workouts at home. She puts on her favorite music and gets her timer. Next, she selects ten core exercises and performs each exercise for a minute before moving on to the next with no rest between those exercises.

Alex prefers a big, healthy breakfast. Lunch consists of lean proteins and green vegetables. At dinner, she tries to avoid carbohydrates. She likes to eat fruit and nuts for snacking. However, their diet is not entirely strict. If she wants a burger, she can have it for lunch. The key for them is balance.
