  1. He got his first senior call with Arsenal in September 2013, when he came on as a substitute for a League Cup match against West Bromwich Albion . However, he remained on the substitutes’ bench throughout the game.
  2. Just 4 days after his professional debut in League Cup Iwobi made his first Premier League appearance in an away game against Swansea City . With his team already winning 3-0, he was sent to Mesut Özil in stoppage time.
  3. In November 2015, Alex made his first UEFA Champions League appearance in his side’s 5-1 humiliation against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
  4. At the start of the 2016–17 season he changed his jersey number from 45 to 17 as it was currently vacant due to Alexis Sanchez deciding to change his number from 17 to 7 after Tomáš Rosický left.
